A vape pen and a weed leaf.

The biggest trend in cannabis consumption, vapes act fast and are designed for convenience and discretion.

How it works.

Within a vape pen, a battery-powered heating coil warms the cannabis oil in the cartridge until it begins to vaporize. You can then inhale. Many vape pens also indicate once a dose has been reached, and may vibrate or light up once you have inhaled sufficiently.

Refill or replace.

Some vape pens are reusable. Replace the cartridge or battery and you can continue to enjoy. Others are recyclable, and will be replaced entirely once finished.

Choose your own adventure.

A splendid sunny afternoon or an idling mellow morning? Different cannabis strains tend to produce distinct effects.

For energy and excitement, snag a Sativa.
To tune out and turn off, try an Indica.
For a balanced high, have a hybrid.
If you don’t want to get high and just need some anxiety or pain relief, try a CBD.

A quick refresher on THC vs. CBD.

THC, short for tetrahydrocannabinol, is probably the most well known chemical compound in cannabis. It’s the psychoactive component that creates a euphoric high, helps ease pain, and encourages relaxation.

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is a non-psychoactive compound also found in cannabis. It has many therapeutic benefits like helping to reduce inflammation and anxiety, but it won’t get you high.
